Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Harrisburg, PA, is looking to expand its Corporate and Tax team by adding an experienced associate attorney. The role focuses on handling complex corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, compliance, and strategic business planning. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit to support a high-performing legal team serving sophisticated business clients.

Duties:

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including M&A and corporate restructuring

• Assist with negotiating and drafting transaction-related agreements and supporting documents

• Conduct legal research and provide practical guidance on business formation, governance, and compliance matters

• Support business succession planning and corporate regulatory reviews

• Engage directly with clients and work in tandem with internal legal and tax professionals

• Contribute to the development of firm resources and internal knowledge management initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate transactional practice

• Demonstrated proficiency in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring

• Familiarity with Pennsylvania business and corporate regulations

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

• Commitment to delivering high-quality work and client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (active and in good standing)

Skills:

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication capabilities

• Advanced analytical thinking and issue-spotting

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Detail-oriented with effective organizational habits

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal research tools and document management platforms
