Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Florence, SC, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney with a Juris Doctorate and licensure to practice in South Carolina. The candidate should have 4+ years of workers' compensation experience.

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and briefs
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
• Negotiate settlements and handle appeals if necessary
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding workers' compensation laws and procedures

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate or better
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
• 4+ years of workers' compensation experience

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Licensure to practice law in South Carolina
