Graduate Fellowship Program

The Fellowship Program places new associates from law firms at public interest law agencies in Illinois, where they are typically paid by their hiring firm to work for 300 hours between graduation and joining the firm. The Fellow will work on a wide and diverse range of issues depending on the agency where they serve. Will also work on transactional matters such as policy development and analysis, advocacy, impact litigation and more. Will work with the Loyola Civitas ChildLaw Clinic. Fellows typically work on several cases during the course of the summer, under the supervision of members of the clinic faculty. Will gain experience with a range of lawyering skills, including client counseling, case planning, and written and oral advocacy.
