A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Franchise and Distribution Team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in commercial litigation, regulatory matters, and corporate transactions, providing strategic counsel to manufacturers across various industries, including electric vehicles and automotive sectors.

Duties

• Manage complex legal matters independently from inception to resolution.
• Provide high-level legal advice on state franchise laws and vehicle manufacturing regulations.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including trials and appeals.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, and attend hearings and trials.
• Supervise associates and collaborate with attorneys across practice groups.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation, regulatory matters, and corporate transactions.
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
