Mid-Level Associate or Senior Level Insurance Coverage Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a highly qualified Mid-Level Associate or Senior Level Insurance Coverage Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, and ideally hold licenses in New Jersey and/or New York. The candidate should demonstrate superior research, writing, and communication skills, combined with a high level of organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Participate in various phases of the litigation process, including discovery and settlement negotiations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions in court.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance coverage issues.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Licensing in New Jersey and/or New York is a plus.
• Experience with insurance coverage matters is preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Additional licenses in New Jersey and/or New York are a plus.
