Job Overview:

The Employment Associate Attorney will represent clients in court, draft legal documents, advise on business transactions, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with legal standards. They will also conduct legal research, assist with trial preparation, and manage administrative tasks.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court
• Prepare and draft legal documents
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions
• Draft opinion letters and briefs
• Conduct legal research
• Summarize documents and deposition transcripts

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney in the state of California
• 2+ years of experience in labor and employment laws
• Extensive experience with WestLaw and Lexus Nexus platforms
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California
