A law firm in Los Angeles, California, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various legal tasks related to employment litigation, including legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, and trial preparation. The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for performing a wide range of legal tasks related to employment litigation, including drafting motions and pleadings, conducting legal research, and managing discovery-related activities. They will also assist with trial preparation and represent clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on employment law issues.
• Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and position statements.
• Argue motions and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Manage discovery-related activities and investigations.
• Assist with all aspects of trials and trial preparation.
• Draft employee handbooks, policies, and other employment-related documents.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Obtain declarations and assist with witness preparation.
• Collaborate with partners and legal staff on case strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar and in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience in employment litigation.
• Civil litigation and/or trial experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
