Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate with 4+ years of experience for its Charlotte, NC office. The candidate will engage in a dynamic practice involving commercial real estate finance transactions.

Duties

• Represent commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, and other lenders in financing commercial properties.
• Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial property diligence.
• Work on the origination of loans secured by commercial properties.
• Engage in real estate owner/operator, developer, and equity side work, including leasing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Experience with mezzanine loans and commercial mortgage loan securitization and syndication is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina or eligible for admission.

Skills
