Duties

• Handle a broad range of insurance defense cases, including construction defect and general liability matters

• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and court hearings

• Negotiate settlements and prepare comprehensive client reports

• Manage cases independently from inception through trial

• Appear in court and respond to assignments with minimal supervision

• Maintain effective communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in Florida (additional state admissions are a plus)

• Minimum of 12 years of insurance defense litigation experience

• Proven experience in construction defect and general liability defense is required

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida State Bar (in good standing)
