Job Title: Attorney - Tier 3 (Pre-Litigation)

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an accomplished attorney to join its elite litigation unit. This role focuses on representing clients affected by catastrophic incidents involving traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, amputations, and wrongful death. The position combines high-level casework with mentorship from an experienced trial attorney, providing a unique opportunity to deepen litigation expertise in a collaborative and flexible work environment. This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with remote work.

Duties:

• Lead and manage complex personal injury cases from intake through resolution

• Investigate and build comprehensive legal strategies through rigorous research, discovery, and expert engagement

• Collaborate closely with a senior litigator to prepare for depositions, motions, mediations, and trial

• Draft persuasive motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents

• Advocate in court proceedings and settlement negotiations

• Maintain proactive and empathetic communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle

• Work in concert with a multidisciplinary legal team to outperform opposing counsel

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in litigation, with emphasis on catastrophic injury, medical negligence, or product liability

• Demonstrated success managing high-stakes cases

• Strong litigation record with a history of effective motion practice and critical depositions

• Proficient in coordinating with expert witnesses and conducting complex factual investigations

• Exceptional judgment, analytical thinking, and resilience under pressure

• Commitment to serving clients affected by life-altering harm

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona (or eligibility for prompt admission)
