Duties

• Handle administrative complaints and agency proceedings.
• Analyze claims and develop litigation strategy.
• Research and address complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Write and argue substantive law and motion, including dispositive motions.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings.
• Work directly with clients, experts, and witnesses throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.
