Duties

• Oversee all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive briefs, motions, and memoranda.

• Develop and implement case strategies that align with client goals and industry-specific legal issues.

• Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to the mentorship of junior associates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in commercial, business, or real estate disputes.

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

• Confident courtroom presence with exceptional oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage multiple complex cases independently while meeting deadlines.

• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
