Duties

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation and insurance defense matters

• Conduct depositions, hearings, and oral arguments

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Negotiate settlements and report case updates to clients

• Attend trials and represent clients independently in court

• Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining autonomy over assigned cases

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in insurance defense litigation

• Demonstrated experience in bodily injury, employment law, and related insurance matters

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada (required); additional state bar admissions are a plus

• Highly proficient in managing cases independently through trial

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Nevada State Bar license (required)

• Proficient with legal research tools such as Westlaw

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and writing skills
