Duties

• Handle business transactions from consultation to closing, including contract drafting and negotiation.
• Conduct client consultations to assess business needs and establish relationships.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various business agreements.
• Perform due diligence reviews and coordinate transaction closings.
• Provide ongoing contract lifecycle management and compliance counseling.
• Conduct estate planning consultations and draft related documents.
• Coordinate document execution and provide trust administration guidance.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and manage expectations.
• Record billable time accurately and participate in business development activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business transactions and/or estate planning preferred.
• Proven track record of successful transaction closings and estate planning implementations.
• Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and business counseling.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Oregon State Bar.
