Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Employment Law Attorney to join their team in Indianapolis. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, supporting the firm's mission to advocate for consumer rights.
Duties
- Manage cases from pre-litigation to litigation.
- Handle pre-suit matters and assist senior attorneys post-suit.
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Guide clients through the legal process.
- Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Requirements
- Law degree (J.D. / Juris Doctor) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.
- Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus.
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
