Sr. Counsel
Duties: Work on legal matters for AECOM Tishman and its subsidiaries. Review RFP’s and negotiate various forms of agreements and subcontracts. Identify risks and preparation of legal advice with inputs to risk assessments and requests for approval to proceed with projects or pursuits. Assist project teams during construction with on-going project reviews and resolution of issues including the drafting of notices and/or claims. Partner with the commercial and operations teams to identify and protect the interests and objectives of the company to minimize risk of loss or liability. Participate and/or lead negotiations between the company and its client(s). Manage external counsel where appropriate and necessary in judicial and administrative litigation and/or claims. Perform other related duties as assigned. Work is subject to best practices and procedures covered by precedents, well-defined policy, and process considerations requiring periodic review with other teams or work groups.
