A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Corporate Governance and Shareholder Rights Practice Group in Delaware. The role involves engaging in various legal activities to support shareholder rights and corporate governance matters.

Duties

• Initiate shareholder demands and actions.
• Generate and answer discovery, including records requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft legal briefs and other court submissions.
• Actively engage in case management.
• Regularly communicate and coordinate with co-counsel.
• Travel to depositions, mediations, meetings, and hearings as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a practicing attorney.
• Current admission in good standing to any Bar in the United States.
• Admitted or willing to seek admission to the Delaware Bar.

Education

• Legal degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Current admission to any Bar in the United States.

Skills

• Strong oral communication skills; ability to argue effectively.
• Proficient in conducting thorough legal and factual research.
• Excellent legal writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and timekeeping software.
