The candidate supports the Director of Human Resources in performing the following functional disciplines: employee relations, training, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, benefits, and rewards and recognition. Be responsible for benefits management. works closely with vendors/third-party administrators point of contact for FMLA leave requests. Maintains employee personnel files. Assists the Compliance division with compiling data and administering training modules monthly. Conducts recruiting and onboarding processes. conducts new hire orientation. Assists with enforcing company employment policies and performs other employee relations duties including employee complaint intake, investigation and resolution. Ensures the timely scheduling of employee performance reviews. Assists with maintaining HRIS databases and timekeeping systems. Serves as payroll back-up to the Rockville office HR Generalist. Assists with facility operations including vendors, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and general building issues.
