Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Practice Support Lawyer (PSL) to assist its litigation subgroups in areas such as Patent Litigation, IP & Complex Litigation, Securities Litigation, and Employment Litigation. The PSL will be responsible for creating and managing model documents and forms, organizing knowledge resources, promoting technology adoption, and preparing training materials. Additionally, the role involves managing and drafting both internal and external content for the practice areas. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility between remote work and in-office presence based on business needs.

Location:

Duties:

• Model Documents and Forms:

  • Create and maintain model documents, forms, precedents, and drafting guidance.

  • Ensure materials are easily accessible to attorneys and aligned with practice area needs.

  • Develop client- and jurisdiction-specific templates for court filings.

  • Identify and automate forms in collaboration with the Knowledge and Innovation team.

• Knowledge Management and Innovation:

  • Develop strategies for organizing and making practice content accessible.

  • Assist attorneys in locating internal and external resources.

  • Build and maintain repositories for key practice information such as judges and experts.

  • Work with the Knowledge and Innovation team to implement technology solutions, including AI tools, to enhance efficiency.

• Training:

  • Collaborate with the Attorney Training team to develop legal skills training programs.

  • Prepare materials for training sessions and practice group meetings.

  • Assist junior attorneys with presentation skills and substantive content.

  • Ensure training materials are archived and easily accessible.

• Internal and External Content Development:

  • Monitor market trends and best practices by reviewing internal and external materials.

  • Create and maintain marketing and business development content, including articles, client alerts, and presentations.

  • Stay updated on legal developments and update resources accordingly.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a litigation practice, with exposure to Patent, IP, Securities, or Employment Litigation preferred.

• Strong legal drafting and analytical skills.

• Experience working with legal technologies and project management tools is a plus.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in good standing (state-specific).

Skills:

• Advanced legal research, writing, and drafting skills.

• Knowledge of legal technologies and project management tools.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to build relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients.

• Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
