A law firm located in Andover, MA, is actively seeking a litigation attorney to handle consumer and commercial debt collection and insurance recovery matters. This role involves representing clients in court across the state, managing a high-volume caseload, and contributing to efficient case resolution in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive setting. Duties:

• Appear in court across Massachusetts to represent clients in collection and subrogation matters

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Conduct case analysis and legal research to support litigation strategy

• Collaborate with the legal team and external stakeholders to achieve case goals

• Manage a large volume of files in a structured, deadline-driven setting

• Communicate proactively with clients and team members to keep cases on track

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

• Availability for in-person court appearances throughout the state

• Ability to handle time-sensitive work and multitask under pressure

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Massachusetts Bar admission required

• Additional Bar admissions in the following jurisdictions are considered an asset:

  • Delaware

  • Michigan

  • Connecticut

  • New Hampshire

  • Maryland

  • Washington, D.C.
