A law firm seeks an experienced Business and Corporate Transactions Attorney in Potomac, MD. The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in corporate and business law, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Duties

• Draft documents and provide counseling in general business and corporate law.
• Handle stock and asset purchase transactions, shareholders' and operating agreements.
• Negotiate personal and commercial service and supplier agreements.
• Advise on business and corporate governance matters.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements and policies.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Maryland; admission in Virginia and/or DC is a plus.
• Experience in employment law is preferred.
• Some portable business is desired but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.

Skills

• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on short deadlines.
