The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in representing labor organizations. Must have experience should include practice before the NLRB, litigating arbitration cases, advising labor organizations on internal union matters and litigating civil actions on behalf of labor organizations, including claims arising under the LMRA, LMRDA and state and federal discrimination laws. Admission to the Missouri Bar is required. Admission to the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas is preferred. Must have a strong academic background as well as excellent research, writing and analytical skills. Spanish language skills are a plus.
