Patent Agent or Patent Engineer

The candidate will prepare and prosecute patent applications in the chemical and mechanical arts. Assume significant client responsibilities, provide high-quality services to domestic and foreign clients, and communicate with other practitioners and staff. Bachelor’s degree of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Software Engineering or other like disciplines is required. Bachelor’s or better in Chemistry or related field is preferred. Bachelor’s or better in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus. Bachelor’s or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred. Strong academic background is required. Should preferably have 1+ years of related law firm and/or industry experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Admission before the United States Patent and Trademark Office is preferred.
