Associate General Counsel
Duties: The candidate will provide day-to-day legal support and advice to management, including with respect to transaction structures, legal documentation, risk mitigation, and legal and regulatory developments applicable to businesses. Draft and negotiate complex commercial leasing and financing transaction documentation, vendor program agreements, loan agreements, and managed services agreements. Develop, maintain and enhance template lease agreements and other forms for the businesses, and collaborate with the Legal team to develop policies and procedures for execution and implementation of contract documentation. Advise and train colleagues on transaction structures, contract issues and legal matters related to commercial equipment leasing. Interact closely with Credit, Compliance, Risk, and Operations departments to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with other members of the Huntington Legal Department to establish best practices across all affiliates. Engage and supervise outside counsel when necessary.
