Duties

• Assist partners with state and federal litigation matters from pre-lawsuit through resolution.
• Serve as lead-trial counsel under supervision in all facets of civil litigation, including attending hearings and conducting depositions.
• Draft, edit, and collaborate on trial briefs, motions, and discovery.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding fees, costs, litigation risks, and strategies.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of litigation experience.
• Ohio Bar license in good standing.
• Strong academic performance in legal writing and trial-related classes.
• Achievements in mock trial or moot court.
• Experience or education in civil litigation and/or consumer protection preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Ohio Bar license.
