The role involves hands-on engagement in litigation strategy, motion practice, and discovery in both federal and state forums. Candidates should be capable of working autonomously on complex matters while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative legal team.

Duties:

• Handle all phases of commercial litigation, including case evaluation and initial claims review

• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Conduct legal research to support case strategies

• Manage discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and document review

• Appear in court and assist with trial preparation

• Collaborate with colleagues on large, multifaceted matters

• Maintain communication with clients and manage expectations

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation, or completion of a judicial clerkship

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal setting

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Team-oriented mindset with professional maturity

• Admission to practice in the state of Ohio

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the Ohio State Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)
