Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level attorney with over five years of experience in fiduciary litigation and estate planning to join their tax team. This remote position is based in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Duties

• Assist with fiduciary litigation cases.
• Create, draft, and implement sophisticated wealth transfer plans for high-net-worth individuals.
• Collaborate on complex estate and trust administration matters.

• Strong academic background and stellar interpersonal skills.
• Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Aptitude for working in a team environment.
• Excellent legal research, verbal communication, and writing skills.
• High attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-stress environment.
• Prior professional experience and/or an LLM is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Illinois or eligibility for admission.
