A law firm seeks a Labor Associate in Dallas, TX. The role involves providing legal advice and representation in various aspects of management labor relations, including handling unfair labor practice charges and advising on union-related matters.

Duties

• Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
• Research and write on management labor relations.
• Represent management in NLRB elections.
• Advise employers on union organizing and corporate campaigns.
• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements.
• Manage grievance and arbitration proceedings.
• Obtain mass picketing injunctions.
• Advise on protected concerted activity under the NLRA.
• Conduct management training on labor relations.
• Advise on union work stoppage situations.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA Accredited Law School.
• 3+ years of traditional labor law experience.
• TX Bar Admission.
• Understanding of state and federal agency enforcement techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• May include regular business travel.

Education

• JD from an ABA Accredited Law School.

Certifications

• TX Bar Admission.
