A law firm seeks a Senior Environment and Energy Associate to join its Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising clients on electric power regulatory matters and administrative litigation before FERC. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers, providing mentorship and increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

Duties

• Advise clients on electric power regulatory matters.
• Engage in administrative litigation before FERC.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced lawyers.
• Provide high-quality client service and legal writing.

Requirements

• Six to nine years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong legal drafting and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
