A law firm seeks an experienced Counsel for its Litigation Practice Group in San Diego, California. This full-time, hybrid position requires a highly motivated individual with at least 8 years of substantive employment law experience. The role involves managing all aspects of employment litigation for private sector corporate clients in California.

Duties

• Independently manage case management, analysis, strategy, and oversight.
• Communicate proactively with team members and clients.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and written discovery.
• Attend depositions, hearings, motions, mediations, trials, and arbitrations.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California Bar.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
• Excellent research skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Proactive management of a team and litigation deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and matters.
• Traditional labor experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
