A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Tampa, Florida office. This full-time, on-site position requires 2 to 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on third-party litigation and insurance coverage matters. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and contribute to case strategy.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Develop effective case strategies and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Manage a varied caseload with attention to detail and timely execution.
• Advocate for client interests in negotiations and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience; insurance coverage or third-party litigation experience preferred.
• Understanding of insurance coverage law is a plus.
• Experience in Federal and State Court practice preferred.
• Ability to analyze case law and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
