Assistant Attorney General - Government Representation - Workers' Compensation

The candidate defends the State of Illinois in workers’ compensation claims filed by State employees on arbitration and review. In addition, prosecutes employers under the Illinois Worker's Compensation Act for failure to maintain workers’ compensation insurance coverage for employees and defends claims filed against the Second Injury Fund and the Rate Adjustment Fund. Also provides advice to State agencies on the Workers’ Compensation Act. Must be licensed in Illinois at the time of application.
