A law firm seeks an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Of Counsel in Denver, Colorado. Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters.
• Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on various subjects.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the state of Colorado.
• At least 8 years of defense litigation experience.
• 5+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience.
• Experience in drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines.
• Experience in third-party or first-party claims.
• Coverage analysis and writing experience.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions.
• Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred.
• Trial experience a plus.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Colorado.
