Duties

• Manage family law cases, including contested and uncontested matters.
• Prepare, organize, and file necessary legal documents for court proceedings.
• Provide guidance to staff on legal issues and interpretation of family laws.
• Maintain a schedule of court appearances, hearings, and conferences.
• Respond promptly to client needs and provide regular case updates.
• Represent clients in trials, court hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients.
• Proficient in negotiation, debate, and persuasion techniques.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Skills

• Active Illinois Bar admission.
