A prominent law firm specializing in personal injury and first-party property damage litigation is seeking a seasoned Plaintiff Appellate Attorney to support its litigation team. This position is ideal for a highly motivated legal professional with extensive experience in appellate advocacy and a passion for representing plaintiffs. The role involves handling appeals at the state and federal levels, drafting legal documents, providing strategic counsel on appellate matters, and supporting trial attorneys in active court proceedings.

Location:

• Boca Raton, Florida

Duties:

• Manage all facets of appellate cases, including brief preparation, oral arguments, and motions practice

• Provide legal trial support on-site during active court proceedings

• Collaborate with attorneys to draft and review substantive legal filings, including summary judgment motions and post-judgment matters

• Conduct complex legal research and interpret statutory and case law

• Partner with trial attorneys to formulate appellate and litigation strategies

• Draft persuasive and articulate legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents

• Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts

• Monitor developments in appellate law and advise legal teams accordingly

• Offer mentorship and support to junior attorneys and legal staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of appellate litigation experience, preferably representing plaintiffs

• Strong ability to manage multiple active appeals (approx. 10–20 concurrently)

• Experience in delivering oral arguments before appellate courts

• Proven record of meeting case deadlines and court schedules

• Demonstrated collaboration and independent work capabilities

• High ethical standards and dedication to client representation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good-standing membership with the Florida Bar
