Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Advise on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer, including gift and estate tax planning.
• Guide beneficiaries and trustees on trust administration, ensuring compliance and managing assets.
• Assist clients through the probate process, managing estate assets and distributing to beneficiaries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored legal advice and support.

Requirements

• License to practice law in California with no record of discipline.
• 1-6 years of experience in Trusts and Estates in California.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn related business and real property issues, and tax expertise.
• Excellent writing, communication, and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in living in Sonoma County preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
