Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a dedicated Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage plaintiff cases in the pre-litigation stage. This role involves overseeing operations at the firm’s Tempe office and providing legal services to clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence or misconduct. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and mentor office/legal staff, negotiate favorable outcomes for clients, and build strong cases while making a direct impact on the clients' lives.

Duties

• Provide leadership and oversight to office and legal staff.
• Interview clients to gather relevant information and ensure a comprehensive understanding of cases.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring transparency and excellent service.
• Build strong, persuasive cases through attention to detail and critical analysis.
• Foster a collaborative, results-driven team environment.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership in Arizona or eligibility to practice in Arizona.
• Experience in personal injury law, particularly in pre-litigation case management (preferred).
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Arizona State Bar or eligibility to practice in Arizona.
