Duties

• Manage civil litigation cases from initial intake through trial or settlement.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Perform legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and legal opinions.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to strategize and develop case plans.
• Maintain organized files, deadlines, and case documentation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Maryland required.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.

Education
