Duties:
Real Estate Transactions:
Assist in commercial real estate purchases, sales, leasing, development, and financing
Draft and negotiate contracts, including loan documents, leases, easements, and closing materials
Conduct title and survey reviews, facilitate due diligence, and coordinate closings
Represent developers, business owners, and financial institutions in transactional matters
Manage entire deal process in collaboration with partners and clients
Client Advisory & Representation:
Provide legal counsel to banks, developers, investors, and business clients
Deliver strategic legal advice while managing risk and ensuring compliance
Engage with business leaders and decision-makers throughout complex transactions
Team & Project Management:
Oversee non-attorney personnel during closings
Manage closing checklists and timelines
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on various matters
Contribute to business development and firm-wide initiatives
Requirements:
2–3 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in New York State
Skills:
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and client interaction abilities
Proficiency in managing real estate due diligence and transactional timelines
Professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency in handling complex legal matters
