Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury files from inception through settlement or litigation support
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests/responses, motions, and settlement agreements
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records and bills
• Maintain and update case management systems (e.g., Needles, Clio, or similar)
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, trial notebooks, and witness lists
• Coordinate and schedule depositions and mediations
• Ensure deadlines are met and court filings are completed accurately and on time

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years experience as a personal injury paralegal (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Litigation experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of personal injury procedures, statutes, and deadlines
• Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred but not required
