Job Title: Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm located in Chicago, IL, is looking for a talented mid-level associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their dynamic Corporate practice. This opportunity offers exposure to a wide array of complex technology and transactions, including data, digital services, outsourcing, and software agreements. The firm’s practice represents industry leaders in high-value contracts and initiatives, such as SaaS, AI, data analytics, cloud subscriptions, and more.

Duties:

• Represent clients in sophisticated technology and transactions, including SaaS agreements, cloud subscriptions, AI, ITO/BPO services, and software development agreements.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise clients on complex contracts related to data services, digital collaborations, and technology-based solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive the success of high-value technology projects.
• Provide legal counsel on technology contracts to leading companies and financial institutions.
• Support senior attorneys in various corporate legal matters and transactions.
• Stay current on legal and technological developments relevant to the practice area.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree (Graduates from 2020 to 2022 are encouraged to apply).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate law with a focus on technology transactions.
• Strong academic credentials from law school.
• Experience with a range of technology agreements including SaaS, cloud solutions, AI, software licenses, and data analytics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in the state of Illinois.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in corporate law with a focus on technology transactions.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in drafting legal documents.
