Duties

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in all stages of litigation and trial preparation, including discovery and courtroom advocacy.
• Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling.
• Handle court appearances and argue motions as needed.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 4-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in health and life sciences, product liability, mass torts, class actions, or complex defense litigation.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery.
• Trial experience or a strong interest in trial work is a plus.
• Admitted to practice in Missouri (Illinois admission is a plus but not required).

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in Missouri.
