Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analytical assessments to support active litigation cases.
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with strong attention to detail.
• Represent clients in various legal settings, including court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
• Oversee and prioritize multiple case assignments, managing each effectively from inception through final resolution.
• Collaborate closely with senior partners on complex litigation and insurance coverage issues.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other involved parties throughout the litigation process.
• Engage actively in strategic planning sessions to develop and implement case strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in insurance coverage litigation.
• Proficiency in handling all phases of commercial litigation, from factual investigation to dispute resolution.
• Expertise in managing cases involving various types of insurance coverage (e.g., commercial general liability, pollution liability, marine, D&O, professional liability, and errors and omissions).
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing commercial insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations, and handling reservations of rights letters.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Colorado State Bar (required).
