Location:

• Walnut Creek, California

Duties:

• Assist with the defense of workers’ compensation claims from inception to resolution

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Attend hearings, depositions, and case conferences under supervision

• Conduct legal research and assist in case strategy development

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative agencies

• Maintain accurate records and case files in accordance with firm standards

Requirements:

• Must possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team

• Must be available to start immediately

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar license (must include CA Bar number in application)

Skills:

• Legal research and writing

• Attention to detail and time management

• Effective communication with clients and team members

• Adaptability and eagerness to grow professionally

• Basic knowledge of workers’ compensation law (preferred but not required)
