Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, ensuring their voices are heard and their stories told.
• Lead legal motions, discovery, depositions, and mediations in a timely and thorough manner.
• Handle client consultations and build relationships, guiding them through the legal process.
• Provide strategic advice to clients and collaborate with the team to formulate case strategies.
• Develop strong legal arguments and conduct thorough legal research.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in settlement conferences when appropriate.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court, including trials.
• Ensure clients are informed and comfortable with case progress, providing exemplary customer service throughout.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury law.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and a member in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Proficient with legal research tools and office software (MS Office, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized with excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Proven trial experience with personal injury cases.
• Ability to manage high-stakes litigation with confidence and professionalism.
• Strong negotiation skills and a client-first attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization is a plus.
