Accounts Receivable Specialist (Entry Level)

The candidate performs, coordinate’s and administers the cash receipts process and ensures these are deposited and posted to client matters following established departmental procedures. Prepares and posts daily bank deposits. Maintains records by scanning client payments for firm archive. Research’s cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts and resolves payment discrepancies. Monitors customer accounts for reconciliation. Organizes and maintains A/R records up to date. Reviews A/R report to ensure compliance. Provides assistance to attorneys, staff, and clients on receivable matters as directed by supervisor. Prepares A/R reports for distribution to management. Assists with collections as directed by supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or its equivalent experience is required.
