Duties

• Handle a caseload of first-party property insurance defense cases

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and formulate case strategies

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as required

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Maintain case files and meet all procedural deadlines

• Collaborate with legal staff to ensure efficient case progression

Requirements

• Residency in the state of Florida

• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask under pressure

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong work ethic and self-motivated approach

• Excellent communication and time management abilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Must be admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and writing

• Familiarity with civil litigation processes, particularly in insurance defense

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and remotely
