Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Devon, PA. The attorney will provide defense counsel in class actions, regulatory investigations, and complex data privacy and cybersecurity matters. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available with occasional travel to Devon, PA or other locations.

Duties

• Manage class actions and complex data matters with guidance from a supervising partner.
• Handle privacy-based tort, contract, and statutory actions.
• Represent clients before regulatory bodies and in investigations.
• Prepare drafts of pleadings, discovery, and legal documents.
• Oversee document collection, review, and production.
• Appear on client's behalf or assist at civil proceedings and hearings.
• Ensure timely reporting to clients.
• Vet experts and vendors for client and partner approval.
• Perform legal research and update team on emerging issues.

Requirements

• 4-6 years' experience in a litigation practice group.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania or primary state of residence.
• Class action or complex litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with large document productions and e-discovery vendors.
• Courtroom exposure and hearing experience a plus.
• Exposure to regulatory investigations preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Pennsylvania or primary state of residence.
