The candidate will be responsible to assist with all aspects of Estate Planning and probate from start to finish; Preparation of documents with minimal direction from attorney; Draft legal documents such as powers of attorney, wills, trusts, petitions for court, etc.; Maintain the calendar, deadlines, and schedule for completing documents and filings with court when appropriate; Correspond, both verbally and written, with clients, courts; financial institutions, governmental agencies and other parties as assigned to obtain the necessary information; Answer common questions by email or phone concerning Estate Planning and probate; Keep specific reports related to client matters; Attend team meetings prepared to review/discuss status of client matters; Conduct legal research as assigned and as needed to continue personal growth/knowledge within the position; Draft other documents as required; and Assist the Firm with special projects as assigned.
