Job Overview:

A nationally recognized civil litigation law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join its dynamic legal team. This role offers hands-on experience across a broad litigation docket, including opportunities to lead depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials. The position is ideal for candidates seeking a collaborative environment where they can grow through substantive casework and direct client engagement. Hybrid and in-office working arrangements are available.

Location:

  • Corpus Christi, TX

Duties:

  • Manage individual caseloads from inception through resolution

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs

  • Handle court appearances, including motion hearings and status conferences

  • Take and defend depositions, including expert and fact witnesses

  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex legal matters

  • Communicate directly with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance

  • Contribute to case strategy and participate in trial preparation and execution

  • Work across multiple practice areas, including general civil litigation and product liability defense

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting

  • Strong background in civil litigation; product liability experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines

  • Experience in depositions, hearings, and motion practice

  • Track record of client communication and relationship management

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the bar in Texas or New Mexico, depending on location

  • Good standing with all applicable bar associations

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

  • Superior legal research and analytical capabilities

  • Strong organizational and case management abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with legal teams

  • Strategic thinker with strong judgment and attention to detail
